Undertaking the refurbishment during the summer holiday ensured minimal disruption to pupils and staff, allowing the work to be completed efficiently and safely. This timing also meant the upgraded facilities were fully operational and ready for use at the start of the new academic year.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Dundonald Primary School Toilet Refurbishment
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving facilities at Dundonald Primary School, we have successfully completed a comprehensive refurbishment of the boys’ toilets on the ground floor. The project included the installation of six new boys’ toilet cubicles, two modern urinals, and a new trough-style basin to enhance hygiene and accessibility. Additionally, a unisex toilet has been added to support inclusive access for staff and pupils. To ensure compliance with Merton Council’s Legionella policy, we also installed a new, larger-capacity water heater to meet the increased demand and maintain safe water temperatures throughout the school. This upgrade supports a safer, cleaner, and more inclusive environment for all students and staff.
