Project Description
The works included:
Burren and Whitaker carried out the refurbishment of 74 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms at Langley Green Hospital. The works included full redecoration, installation of new flooring, and application of hygienic wall cladding to improve durability and infection control.
To support patient safety in a mental health setting, all fixtures and fittings were replaced with anti-ligature alternatives, and anti-pick mastic was used throughout to maintain secure, tamper-resistant finishes. The project was delivered in a live environment with close coordination to ensure minimal disruption to clinical services.
