Project Information:
This Centre specialises in mental health, the objective of the project was to improve the safety of the living environment to 2 patient bedrooms, 1 staff bedroom, 3 ensuites, 1 living room and corridor.
This project was completed in one phase. Works were carried out in a live working facility with patients and staff members.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project comprised of:-
•
Remove all fixture and fittings in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor.
•
Remove 5 radiator casing covers.
•
Uplift existing floor coverings in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor.
•
Grind off the existing flooring adhesive back to the substrate in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor.
•
Complete making-good to all walls and ceilings in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor.
•
Install Dega coved resin floor flake system to 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor.
•
Decorate all walls, ceilings and woodwork in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and corridor with Epoxy Resin Coat Paint.
•
Build new segregating partition wall.
•
Supply and install new STOW-Anti-ligature door-set to the ensuite in bedroom 2.
•
Supply and install 5no new robust anti-ligature radiator covers in all areas.
•
Install new staff panic alarm system.
•
Re-install fixture and fittings in 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, and corridor.
•
Complete anti-pick mastic finish to all fixture and fitting items.
